Scope of Works
- Inspect barrier in horizontal position and adjust if required.
- Inspect barrier in vertical position (as above).
- Inspect drive linkage for wear and lubricate.
- Inspect raise and lower limit switches and adjust if necessary.
- Inspect drive belt for wear and adjust tension when necessary.
- Check safety switch for correct operation.
- Check control systems and report if fault found.
- Inspect all bearings and lubricate as required.
- Check curtain for free swing and replace fixings as required (if fitted).
- Check drive motor for correct operation.
- Check pulleys on motor drive unit for wear, looseness.
- Check all electrical terminations and tighten as required.
- Check motor overload unit for correct operation and adjust if necessary.
- Check handwind facility for ease of operation.
- Ensure plinth holding down bolts, nuts are tight.
- Clean with wire brush and paint rusty areas with appropriate colour paint, (Subject to condition of paint work on commencement of contract – complete painting is beyond scope of maintenance).
- Check boom lights and stop signs if fitted.
