Scope of Works

• Inspect barrier in horizontal position and adjust if required.

• Inspect barrier in vertical position (as above).

• Inspect drive linkage for wear and lubricate.

• Inspect raise and lower limit switches and adjust if necessary.

• Inspect drive belt for wear and adjust tension when necessary.

• Check safety switch for correct operation.

• Check control systems and report if fault found.

• Inspect all bearings and lubricate as required.

• Check curtain for free swing and replace fixings as required (if fitted).

• Check drive motor for correct operation.

• Check pulleys on motor drive unit for wear, looseness.

• Check all electrical terminations and tighten as required.

• Check motor overload unit for correct operation and adjust if necessary.

• Check handwind facility for ease of operation.

• Ensure plinth holding down bolts, nuts are tight.

• Clean with wire brush and paint rusty areas with appropriate colour paint, (Subject to condition of paint work on commencement of contract – complete painting is beyond scope of maintenance).

• Check boom lights and stop signs if fitted.
