Newgate are delighted to announce details of one of our DPD project that will see 20 new automatic traffic barriers installed at their new super hub.
Work is currently underway on a new state of the art £150 million super hub in Hinckley, Leicestershire, over a 39 acre site. This new hub will be DPD’s fifth in the UK and the largest domestic parcel hub in Europe.
The main build should be complete by February 2020, the fit-out will run until December 2021 and the site to be fully operational by 2022.
Three other facts:
- There will be 300 security cameras
- There will be 3000 metres of conveyor
- There will be 20 Newgate automatic challenger traffic barriers controlling the vehicle movements on and off the site
All the barriers will be controlled from respective gatehouses and fortunately for us, their corporate colours match ours although we are able to produce them in any colour!
