Case Study:
Yet another famous British icon, and Newgate are once again proud to be associated with Silverstone and what it represents.
The team at Newgate have had the pleasure of installing a Type 1 Sliding Gate at Silverstone Racetrack, the home of thrilling motorsport since the 1950’s.
We were instructed by Hitech Grand Prix Ltd, to install a sliding security gate to help the flow of traffic in and out of the premises. The 10-meter-wide, 2-meter-high sliding gate came with Induction Loops and PEC to allow staff full control of accessibility.
To enhance safety, we provided reflective strips to ensure staff and visitors could safely enter the premises day or night and HSE warning signs were also included as part of the installation, so compliance was met.
All of our sliding gates are driven by our very own proven motor gear box drive technology which is 100% duty rated and includes invertor logic as standard.
Our sliding security gates also have a full complement of safety devices, ensuring reliability and British engineering at its best.
British sportsmen at their best, British designed cars the envy of the world, team headquarters and state of the art facilities to be proud of, and Newgate barriers all part of it. British through and through.
Newgate’s barriers have controlled the traffic in and around this famous circuit for many years, and long may they continue to do so.
