Product Overview

Road Blockers, alternatively known as Rising Kerbs, are the perfect solution to prevent unwanted vehicle access and will deter the most determined intruder. They are ideal for both manned and unmanned vehicle parks.

Available in two sizes 2.0m and 2.5m, the Hydraulic Rising Kerb is capable of withstanding axle weights of three tonnes. (Type A)

Manufactured from a welded rectangular hollow section frame and durbar top plate, the Road Blocker features a hydraulic power pack and drive ram system to raise and lower the unit smoothly. A state of the art programmable logic controller co-ordinates the hydraulics, access control and traffic light signaling system. During power failure, an emergency lowering facility is incorporated as standard.

A variety of access control options are available including, proximity card, radio, token, keypad and intercom. These combined with induction loop or photocell safety and close facilities, ensure the rising kerbs open and close smoothly on each activation.

Conforms to BS6571 and is CE Approved.
