Rising Arm Bridge Barriers

We have been supplying heavy duty bridge security barriers for use on road and across river bridges for over 25 years.

Specially constructed to withstand the extremes of traffic flow and weather conditions in the harshest of environments, our rising arm bridge barriers can be incorporated with Wig-Wag light systems, illuminated stop signs, boom lights, balance weight guards, sounders and boom damage detection.

Our bridge security barriers range from just two barriers, one each end of the bridge, to an eight barrier system on dual carriageway bridges. With many completed projects over the years, our heavy duty barriers track record for proven reliability speaks for itself.

Rising Arm Bridge Barrier

As well as our heavy duty bridge security barrier, we also have the Challenger bridge barrier which has been recently used on smaller bridges, where the control of pedestrian traffic is required.

Manufactured with a galvanised steel frame, aluminium arm and fibreglass top cover, our bridge security barriers span openings up to 8000mm have an operating supply of 230V 1Ph 50Hz – 6 Amps.

Our rising arm bridge barriers are usually controlled from the bridge controller directly, but incorporate ‘back indication’ and ‘boom damage’ signals as standard.

Our bridge barrier projects include:

  • Stoneferry Bridge, Hull
  • Myton Bridge, Hull
  • Boothferry Bridge, Goole
  • Tower Bridge, London
  • Canary Wharf, London
  • Fort Augustus Bridge, Scotland
  • Laggan Bridge, Scotland
  • Twechar Bridge, Scotland
