Newgate have worked with ASDA for a number of years and are proud to continue our partnership with them with our latest installation at their store in Newport.

Newport

This gate was installed to secure the store premises from unwanted visitors and restrict unauthorised vehicles from accessing entrances. Our manual swing gate is the perfect solution for Asda due to its robust design, ease of use and maximum security.

The custom designed manual swing gate blends seamlessly into its surroundings and features appropriate warning signage. We also installed brackets onto the top of the gate which will be used to secure electric fencing in place, an additional security feature and deterrent to deter criminals.

Leeds

Newgate have worked with ASDA on a variety of other projects including the access control security for their Merchandising Centre of Excellence in Leeds.

This building, completed in only 8 weeks, includes a full size model store, for mocking up store layouts, and a state of the art virtual reality lab.

Newgate’s contribution to the project included two pairs of manual vehicle swing gates, one of its “challenger” electric traffic barriers, a “heavy duty” electric traffic barrier and a twin leaf “MOE“ (Means Of Escape) gate.

Wigan

Working in association with ISG Construction Ltd, Newgate were tasked with controlling both vehicle and pedestrian traffic on site.

This £56,000 project included providing secure access solutions for a number of the entrances and exits to the site.

• On the ‘’colleagues’’ entrance, are a pair of ANPR controlled electric swing gates(6m span, 3m high, palisade infill).
• On the ‘’emergency’’ entrance, are a pair of Manual Swing Gates(4.6m span, 3m high, palisade infill).
• On the ‘’HGV’’ Entry & Exit, are two single electric swing gates (each 5.6m span, 3m high, palisade infill).
• On the ‘’colleagues & HGV’’ entrance, are two semi-automatic pedestrian gates(access reader controlled).
