A pair of nicely installed Newgate “Challenger” rising arm traffic barriers doesn’t look much better than this.
These barriers are “fully loaded” with their red/white striped poles, PVC curtains, stop signs and boom lights as well as a special dual tip support post.
This barrier was tested , prior to being launched, to in excess of one million test operations, just to prove its motor/gearbox drive train and inverter logic controls. (we even know of examples installed on toll bridges that are still working all day, every day, after two million operations).
No hydraulics in these barriers boys!
