Associated British Ports (ABP) once again chooses to use Newgate’s tried and tested Heavy Duty Traffic Barriers at their Alexandra dock, Kings Lynn, Norfolk.
These ports and harbours cover an area of 96 acres and handle 750,000 tonnes of cargo per annum. This particular project involves two pairs of HD barriers. Two on the south bridge and two on the north bridge.
The 7.1mrt span barriers include all the usual features of a bridge barrier, such as PVC half curtains, LED boom lights, stop signs and bridge control signalling. Because of their working environment, these barriers have also been treated to a special paint treatment.
