This huge sliding gate was a first for Newgate, and thinking about it, we haven’t done one similar since.
The gates that we manufacture for supermarkets are usually fitted up with nylon brush strips to the bottom and lower sides to try and prevent the ingress of our small furry creatures.
This security gate, however, went over and above that, as the client wanted bird netting fitted above the gate and between the walls/roof of the supermarket.
It did the trick, but we wouldn’t want to do it every day.
