This is not your usual postcard picture, but these barriers are from Scarborough.
The pair of barriers, one each side of the bridge, control the pedestrian and boat traffic into Scarborough Harbour. The North Sea coastal conditions have taken their toll on these barriers and they are in need of a slight re-fresh.
A couple of days at the seaside will see them right again.
