Although not Newgate equipment, this traffic barrier system certainly makes interesting viewing.
The protection bollard certainly “didn’t” do its job – it’s supposed to stop this sort of damage! As you can see, almost every fixing bolt has been pulled out of the ground and who knows how much internal damage has been done to the car park barrier and pay machine.
