No we didn’t install our equipment in America, but we did provide some new equipment to RAF Lakenheath, in Suffolk – an RAF air force base, housing the American air force.
Recently installed was a palisade infilled, 8m electric sliding gate, as well as a 5m “challenger” electric rising arm traffic barrier.
The gate and barrier themselves were Newgate standard products, complete with the usual safety devices and accessories, but the gate was finished in a bizarre “bitter chocolate” colour! Why?
This was not a particular issue, just… different.
