Although Newgate design and manufacture their own range of swing gates, drive units, c/w motor& gearbox drive – Every now and then they are too big & efficient to fit to smaller gates.
Whilst Newgate don’t actively build security gates for domestic applications, we do have to build ‘smaller’ gates for industrial projects.
In these cases, we will fit hydraulic drive rams, as shown in the above picture.
Just one thing to factor in to your application – our gearbox driven drive units have 100% duty rating, whereas ram drives are usually limited to 45%-50% duty rating.
Gate infills still come in all shapes, sizes and finishes – but we don’t get too many like this!
